My professional relationship with a client is confidential, empathetic and understanding developed within a warm, welcoming and relaxed environment. During a counselling treatment session you will be encouraged to feel safe and comfortable so that you can explore your inner most thoughts and feelings.
I offer help and have experience working with a range of problem areas from relationship issues, family matters, health problems, anxiety, depression, bereavement and loss, trauma, PTSD to stress, abuse, anger management, self-esteem, communication and confidence building and bullying.
I work with men, women, young people and children; my specialism is working with children and young people (Therapeutic Diploma in Counselling Children and Adolescents). As a Professional Accredited Registered Member of the British Association of Counsellors & Psychotherapists (BACP) I strictly adhere to the Associations Ethical Framework at all times.
My role as a Counsellor/Psychotherapist involves over 3 years work experience with RDASH as a volunteer Counsellor at St. Johns Hospice including Bereavement and loss; 6 years volunteer work with Doncaster Children’s Trust (DCST) working with Adults, young people and children; Working within DMBC project ‘Stronger Families’ offering Holistic therapies to Carers within families; Worked as part of Sudden Death Response Team across Doncaster offering support work to Children and Young People & Families in the event of near or sudden death and trauma work.
In private practice I will work with you on a short or long term basis, guided by your personal needs, with the number of sessions being determined at any point in the counselling by you the client.
As a Holistic therapist, I believe that the body, mind and spirit benefit greatly from holistic treatment working with the whole person physically, emotionally and psychologically to encourage the body to re-balance on all levels.

Reflexology - the manipulation of precise points on the feet that align with other areas within the body, to rebalance and release energy flow.
Reiki - a form of healing through the hands where energy is flowing in order to release and heal blockages in the body.
Massage - can be used as relaxation technique by stretching connective tissue and working on tension found in muscles caused by stress.
Hopi Ear Candles - a calming and relaxing therapy, also a natural and non-invasive means of removing unwanted ear wax from ear canals.
